After working for other law firms for more than 15 years, Dan and Dawne Deuterman formed The Deuterman Law Group in 2003. They brought with them a carefully selected group of attorneys, paralegals and office staff. Since then the firm has earned an enviable reputation for exceptional expertise, integrity and hard work.

THE EXPERIENCE TO WIN: Together, our attorneys have more than 40 years of courtroom experience representing injured people and families seeking wrongful death settlements. All of our workers’ compensation attorneys are board certified specialist in workers’ compensation law. In addition, Dan Deuterman has spent more than five years on the "other side" representing insurance companies and employers in cases against injured people. This experience gives us a valuable competitive edge in the courtroom.
HOW WE WORK: We consider our small size to be an advantage. By handling fewer cases, we do a better job with each one. And while you may be assigned to one of our attorneys, you'll actually have three attorneys working together on your case. With all of our staff working in a single office location, we're able to share experience and expertise to create the best possible outcome.
WE BRING IN EXPERTS: We maintain close relationships with legal and medical experts who can assist with your case. We work with other attorneys who specialize in medical malpractice and insurance law, and we stay informed on all state and federal legislation. If necessary, we'll bring in the best specialists to help win your case and maximize the outcome.
WE STAY IN TOUCH: We want you to know what's going on with your case. You'll talk directly to your attorney when necessary, and you'll have ongoing communication with your paralegal. If you call us, you'll hear back within 24 hours. We'll stay in touch with you by email, as well as by phone and fax. We'll even come to your home or hospital if you are disabled or have limitations that prevent you from visiting our office.
