Joel Davis is a Board Certified Specialist in Workers’ Compensation Law, joining only a handful of Triad attorneys who have received this special certification from the N.C. State Bar Board of Legal Specialization. Joel previously served as the head of our Social Security Department, where he fought for years for disabled workers and has extensive experience in helping people win Social Security Disability benefits after they have been previously denied.
Joel is a member of the N.C. Advocates for Justice (NCAJ), the American Association for Justice (AAJ), the N.C. Bar Association (NCBA), the Workplace Injury Law and Advocacy Group (WILG), the Greensboro Bar Association (GBA), the National Organization of Social Security Claimants' Representatives (NOSSCR) and the Guilford Inn of Court.
Joel's primary area of focus is Workers’ Compensation, but he continues to supervise cases involving Social Security Disability, wrongful death, and auto, truck and motorcycle accidents.
Joel lives in Greensboro with his wife, Erin, and their three children. He is a member of the Knights of Columbus and participates annually in their L.A.M.B. drive, which raises funds for the mentally handicapped.
Joel received his undergraduate degree from Georgia Southern University and obtained his law degree at Tulane University in New Orleans.
