At Deuterman Law Group, we’re not just a law firm serving North Carolina; we’re also deeply committed to making a positive impact here in our community. We believe in supporting causes that matter to us, and to our clients. Throughout the year, our staff selects a range of organizations for our charitable and outreach efforts.
Volunteering Is A Passion—And A Privilege.
Our community has given us so much support, and we’re dedicated to giving back in equal measure. We volunteer as a team for many charitable projects, while our attorneys, paralegals, and office staff volunteer individually for initiatives close to their hearts.
Here are some of the causes to which we contribute time, energy, and financial support:
Holiday Food Drives – To support our local community, we organize holiday food drives benefitting Greensboro Urban Ministry, Samaritan Ministries, and Faith Action. We collaborate with local businesses to serve as drop-off locations for food donations. We also partner with radio station 107.5 KZL to sponsor a wonderful holiday for a local family in need.
Samaritan Ministries – Samaritan Ministries in Winston-Salem works diligently to assist our hungry and homeless neighbors. We contribute to their annual holiday “Penny Campaign,” providing warm meals and a safe shelter at their Men’s Overnight Shelter. The campaign also supports year-round substance abuse treatment.
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society® – Our commitment to LLS has grown over the past decade. We host an annual Silent Auction, raising funds for the local chapter. We’re also proud sponsors of LLS’s Triad “Light the Night” Walk, supporting vital research, advocacy, and patient and family support.
Urban Ministry – We’re proud to team with Greensboro Urban Ministry to collect non-perishable items for our hungry neighbors. We actively participate in annual Food Drives and collaborate with the Carolina Theatre to collect additional contributions during special shows and events.
Community Youth Sports – We believe that sports and recreation help build stronger, healthier, and safer communities. That’s why we sponsor youth leagues for soccer, football, and baseball on local fields. We also sponsor free swim lessons for kids at the Greensboro Aquatic Center, and support Beyond Sports NC in providing athletic equipment to Title One schools in the Triad.
ARTS FOR EVERYONE – From the historic Carolina Theatre to the new Tanger Center for the Performing Arts, we’re passionate about creating opportunities for young people to enjoy the inspiration of live performances.
We also sponsor the Carolina Theatre’s Summer Film Festival and Holiday Classics Movie Series, and support youth arts organizations and performance groups throughout the Triad.
