Office Coordinator Profile: Laura
Interviewer: Hey Laura. What exactly is the firm office coordinator?
Laura: A firm office coordinator is the first person who either greets our clients, either by the phone or in person. Every single time they come in or call in, we’re counted on to provide the best customer service to all of our potential as well as our current clients.
Interviewer: What are some good skills to have?
Laura: Some good skills to have would be multitasking for sure, because we do bounce between phone calls, greeting clients, as well as some other tasks, and being organized is a great one to go with that to make sure everything runs smoothly. I would also say having good communication skills and being positive so that way we can provide that great customer service.
Interviewer: What are some things that you love about working here at Deuterman Law Group?
Laura: I love how involved we are with the community and doing all of the events that we do. I also love the work-life balance. It has been so beneficial to switch to this type of job. I also have made some great friendships along the way.
Interviewer: Okay. One last question. Does the fact that your initials spell l-a-w have anything to do with why you’re here?
Laura: I think it’s just destiny. My parents knew what they were doing. I just ended up here, and I don’t think I’ll ever leave.
